Tell Us a Little About This Mural:
This mural was designed to be bold and whimsical. The design is specifically to look great as a backdrop for photos as well as just a fun image for people to share online. The pinky promise in itself is something that is very playful, childlike and serious all-in-one. The pinky promise here is between night and day. It’s a very light-hearted and whimsy depiction but could easily be interpreted as something more serious too. Bold and vibrant colors make me happy and I believe they spark joy in others too. The color choices were made specifically for that reason. This design was painted by two of my daughters, 11 and 5, and a close friend.

I’m passionate about using visual elements to clearly communicate to target audience. I take the process of my designs very seriously and I’m really most interested in the results it creates long after it’s complete.
Do you have any awards or achievements relative to your work as an artist?
I’m terrible at keeping track of accolades.
