Tell Us a Little About This Mural:
This mural is a celebration of American and the flag. It will transition over time but, “Old Glory” will always be the background of the design.
What is your art medium and/or special techniques?
I am comfortable to work in a wide range of media and styles including: pencil, pen and ink, acrylic, oil, watercolor, encaustic, pastel, oil pastel, 3D multi-media works, graphic design logos. My true style is Impressionistic in nature.
Where do you find inspiration for your art?
The world around me: the people, the land, printed works, ideas, and cultures
What are you passionate about?
I am passionate about creating fine art works that become a part of the narrative of my clients’ life, works and become their family’s heritage. I love helping students find their voice and create artworks that express who they are.
Do you have any awards or achievements relative to your work as an artist?
Won logo design contest for the Sesquicentennial of the Erie Barge Canal in Western New York
Accepted into the renown Kenan Gallery, Lockport, N. Y.
Earned multiple awards for academic and artistic achievements at ASU Beebe, Harding University
“Oh Arkansas,” landscape purchased by the Arkansas Library System and displayed in the governors mansion, highlighted as Mrs. Beebe’s favorite painting.
2014-2019—Students accepted and awarded in the Young Arkansas Artist Competition.
