Murals Are Coming to Cabot
CFAC Partners with Mayor to Bring a Mural Wall to Life
Cabot, AR: The Cabot Foundation for Arts & Culture (CFAC) today announced a collaboration with Cabot Mayor Ken Kincade to paint a wall of murals. This milestone is a major move for CFAC on its mission to promote community through arts and culture.
“We’ll be partnering with local artist to paint the short wall on the back of the police department parking lot. The wall will be divided into 23 sections and each artist will be given a space,” says Becky Williams, VP at CFAC. “In an effort to keep the artwork always fresh the artists will repaint a new design every six months.”
This initiative stems from the Visioning Sessions, Listening Sessions, Interviews, and meetings CFAC held this year as part of their Placemaking Roadmap project.
